Traditionally Speaking, Ylang Ylang (Ee-Lang Ee-Lang), has been used:

  • In aromatherapy applications, Ylang Ylang Essential Oil soothes stress, anxiety, sadness, tension, and sleeplessness. Its aphrodisiac quality is reputed to boost the libido to enhance sensuality between a couple.
  • Cosmetically or topically in general, to balance and regulate oil production in the skin and hair, while also soothing inflammation and irritation. It enhances circulation, encourages the growth of new skin and hair, contributes and maintains hydration, conditions, and prevents infections

How To Use

~ Combine a few drops of Ylang Ylang essential oil with Epsom salts and mix with running bathwater for a relaxing soak.
~ Use Ylang Ylang oil in a steam facial to refresh the skin.
~ Apply Ylang Ylang essential oil to the wrists for a sweet, floral “pure”-fume.
~ Mix Ylang Ylang oil with a carrier oil for a deep hair conditioner.
